My *crisp* new Nikon 35mm f/2 ais in action this morning. Multicoating is a magical thing. The color rendition of this lens is the best by far out of all the 35mm lenses I've used 👌
Black and white conversions of images from a roll of cross processed, expired Kodak Ektachrome. I didn't love the colors of the film to be honest, but the grain of this stuff is amazing, and looks so damn good in black and white
In a few weeks my squarespace subscription is expiring, and I'm not renewing it this time. I'm starting to feel more and more like artists have been brainwashed into thinking they need one, but in reality the majority of us do not. I used to use mine to show my concert photos, but since I've stopped shooting music for the most part, I don't think it serves much of a purpose anymore. For now, my blog posts and camera reviews will live on in a wordpress blog I just made called "Grainy", and I just posted for the first time in a while! Hopefully going to try out some more film photography stuff in the future, and share it on there. Check it out @ gra1ny.wordpress.com (link in bio)
One of the most underrated fishing spots on Martha's Vineyard, hands down. If you know, you know. Taken on a Mamiya RB67 and @kodakprofessional portra 160
Reposing this oldie but goodie. Of all my vineyard photos this is a clear favorite. For some reason my favorite photos are often different from the ones that other people like though, and this is one of those instances. I've heard several times that this particular one grows on you as you look at it, though, so if you're not a fan, give this a good hard stare and see if that changes anything lol
Aquinnah MA. Portra 400, mamiya rb67
Vineyard haven harbor. Mamiya RB67, Kodak portra 400
Oak bluffs waterfront
Andersons bike rentals. Oak bluffs
My first attempt at raw negative inversion, coincidentally one of the coolest portraits I've ever taken, too bad its of me

Night Walks

May 17, 2018

At least they started out that way. Then they became morning walks.
